Misconnection-proof

As any shop-floor engineer would testify, occasional misconnections in an electrical system are unavoidable. Eliminating frequent stoppages due to such minor misconnections result in substantial downtime-savings.

The iLabs technical team has developed an electrical circuit for the DM 52 Series of energy meters that makes the meters immune from such misconnections.

Conzerv is now launching the new EM6400 with the DigitAN™ series that displays a color-coded Analog Load Bar next to the Digital Alpha-numeric Displays.

Co-relation of parameters with colours visually is much more effective than using letter or symbols. Hence for easy identification of the three Voltage and current phases, the Terminal Block of the DigitAN™ is colour coded representing each phase: Red for R phase, Yellow for Y phase, Blue for B phase and Black for neutral. In addition, the Current terminals also have the visual indication of the direction of flow of current enabling correct connection to the meter. This unique colour coding system reduces wiring errors and saves electricians and panel builders costly errors and re-wiring time.
