What is SyncroMax? |
|
SynchroMax is an all-in-one relay, which automatically balances frequency, phase shift and synchronizes the generator. |
| 3.3 |
How will the Synchronisation Relay balance frequency? |
|
The instrument has 2 output relays, which compare the frequency difference between electric mains and generator mains. If the difference is less than 5Hz, the instrument gives output impulses in the right direction (slower or faster) to the speed governor of the Genset to achieve frequency balance. |
| 3.4 |
How does Synchro Max balance the voltage? |
|
The relay has built-in voltage comparator, which measures and compares the voltage difference between electric mains and generator mains. When it finds voltage equal or within the set limit, the front delta voltage LED glows. |
| 3.5 |
Can it be used as a check synchronising relay? |
|
- Yes. SyncroMax has 2 operation modes – Auto Mode and Manual Mode. In the Manual Mode the relay will balance frequency whereas the phase shift synchronisation command to the breaker is through a user push button.
|
| 3.6 |
What is the voltage input Range ? |
|
The nominal voltage input to SyncroMax is from 80 to 600 Volts, which is user programmable. The voltage input is 110V or 415V. This voltage range is selectable. |
| 3.7 |
What is the ordering information required? |
|
Only the power supplies voltage requirements to be mentioned, the supply is 400V or 230V, which is to be specified. |
| 3.8 |
What is the breaker closing time? |
|
It is user programmable. It is programmable from 0.25Hz to 1000m Sec |
| 3.9 |
How is SyncroMax connected into the system? |
|
Please refer to the wiring diagram given below. |
|
 |
| 3.10 |
What are the digital displays shown by Synchro Max? |
|
- Generator voltage
- Electric Mains voltage
- Generator and Electric Main delta voltage difference
- Phase angle
- There is also an intelligent Synchro scope (Fast / Slow display) via a rotating LED ring.
|
| 3.11 |
What is the size of the instrument? |
|
The size of the instrument is 96 x 96 mm |
